Chief executive Evgeny Nikitin told RIA the company is targeting annual bauxite production of 5 million metric tons in Ghana and annual processing capacity of 1.2 million tons. Rusal, the world's largest aluminium producer outside China, already has major bauxite operations in Guinea, including the Compagnie des Bauxites de Kindia, the Dian-Dian deposit and the Friguia complex.
